History :
There is not much reference of this fort in history. The size of the fort indicates it mush have not been used as a watch tower. The temple on top of Mallikarjun Mahadev, is of religious value to locals villages of the region. Mahashivratri is a popularly celebrated festival here especially by the villagers of Ghonaspur.
Sightseeing :
The fort is small with its summit not reachable without use of equipment. The temple of Mallikarjun Mahadev on top is worth a visit. It is the most prominent feature on top. No fortifications remain. There is a water tank about 100 ft from the temple with fresh water available all thought the year. The Gamdevi Temple near the end of Ghonaspur is also worth a visit.

There are two routes to go to the top of the fort.
Accommodation :
The Mallikarjur Mahadev temple on top can accommodate up to 10 people.
Food :
No food available on top cooking on site is very much advised. Food is available at home of local villagers at Ghonaspur and Hatlot.
Drinking Water :
Water available thought the year at the water tank.
Time To Reach :
From Ghinaspur ~45 min, and 2 - 3 hours from Hatlot.
