A small top doesn't hold too many historical monuments but it offers a great view of mountains in the Kalsubai range. One should also visit the Bitanwadi village, Hanuman mandir.The cave and water cisterns are the other things one should look for.

Ways To Reach:
One has to reach Kasara or directly Igatpuri. From Igatpuri one can take ST busses to Ghoti or Taked. From Ghoti via Taked or driectly from Taked private jeeps and tempos go up to Maidara.

Accommodation:
Cave or Hanuman mandir in Bitanwadi can host a group of 5-7 and 10-15 people respectively.

Food:
One should make arrangements for food.

Drinking Water:
Water cisterns are available but better to carry water from Bitanwadi which itself is on top.
